Greenfields is a detached bungalow sleeping six which offers visitors a 'best of both worlds' experience. It offers an ideal location for a family holiday, being just three miles from the National Trust owned Sandymouth Beach, and in an unspoiled setting. There are panoramic views towards Bodmin Moor and to distant Dartmoor.
The large, enclosed, garden with mature shrubs provides a safe play area for children (steps up to the lawned area). All rooms enjoy either a garden view or panoramic rural view. Greenfields is dog friendly. The coastal footpath is easily accessible and offers miles of scenic walking along the north coast. Amateur astronomers will also enjoy the lack of light polution.
All essential amenities (post office, shops and restaurants) are available in Kilkhampton approximately two miles away, while Bude with its selection of shops, restaurants and sandy beaches is approximately four miles away. Picturesque Boscastle and dramatic Tintagel are approximately 30 minutes drive from Greenfields.
The property is entered through the porch which leads to an internal hallway. The lounge is light and airy with wood flooring and has comfortable seating for six people, flat screen TV and DVD player. The kitchen is well-equipped with washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, microwave, fridge freezer, electric cooker (hob, oven and extractor), table and chairs. Please note that the AGA is not available for guest use. The dining room leads off the kitchen and has a pine table and six matching chairs. A door from the kitchen leads to the garden and patio area with teak table and chairs. The bedrooms and family bathroom lead off the hallway. Family bathroom with toilet, bath with electric shower over and washbasin. Double bedroom with pine wardrobe and matching bedside drawers with lamps. Second double bedroom with pine bedside drawers and lamps. Twin bedroom with pine wardrobe and matching bedside drawers between the beds, chest of drawers with mirror and chair. Small dressing room with sliding door into a shower room with toilet.
Greenfields is centrally heated. Bedlinen, towels and electricity are included in the rental. The property accepts one dog by prior arrangement at £25 per week.
