Ruby Barn is a brand new barn conversion, completed to a very high standard, with the sole intention of providing quality holiday accommodation near the North Cornish coast.
With lots of light, underfloor heating and vaulted ceilings throughout, Ruby Barn provides a modern style of living with lots of character touches. Being just three miles from the golden sands at the National Trust owned Sandymouth Beach with seasonal cafe and a little further from Widemouth Bay you are close enough to reach them easily and yet still situated in a beautiful, peaceful, rural setting. Panoramic rural views from the lounge window look towards the rocky tors of Dartmoor and the North Coast picturesque villages of Boscastle, Port Isaac and Tintagel are easily explorable by car in under half an hour. All essential amenities (post office, shops and restaurants) are available in Kilkhampton approximately two miles away.
A door leads from the gravelled courtyard into the open-plan living area which benefits from lots of natural light from the large number of windows. The spacious lounge has comfy seating for four people, a coffee table and a wall mounted LCD TV with freeview.
An extending dining table and four chairs provide plenty of dining space and there is also a breakfast bar with two stools.
The large kitchen is very well-equipped with fridge, freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, electric double oven with 4-ring hob and extractor over.
A corridor leads to the bedrooms and bathrooms. The main bathroom has a double ended bath with waterfall taps, a separate shower cubicle with mixer shower over and matching toilet and handbasin with vanity unit, shaver point and mirror over.
Bedroom one is a large double room with 5' king-size bed, bedside tables and lamps, dressing table and a double wardrobe. Sea glimpses from the end window on a clear day! There is a sky light which allows you to see the night sky, which does not have a blind.
Bedroom two is a twin room with en suite shower room. Two x 3' single beds with central bedside table and lamp, dressing table and double wardrobe. The en suite shower room has a shower cubicle with mixer shower, matching toilet and handbasin with vanity unit, mirror and shaver point over.
Outside is a patio area and furniture, along with plenty of parking for up to two vehicles. Also on site, but detached, are the owners and another holiday cottage ('Greenfields' see property number 439)
Rental includes bedlinen, towels, electricity and central heating. Regret no smoking and no pets. SORRY NO CHILDREN UNDER 5. If in doubt please phone the office on 01326 240315.
