Number 9 Swingbridge House is a second floor, very well-appointed holiday apartment with two bedrooms and two bathrooms in Penryn, just outside of Falmouth. The harbour town of Falmouth is a 30 minute scenic walk to the town centre (or 5-10 minute drive/bus ride) where you'll find many restaurants, cafes, pubs and shops as well as the National Maritime Museum and Oyster festival in October. Penryn itself is well positioned for exploring the Southwest peninsula’s towns, villages and fishing coves yet only an hour’s drive to the North Coast for wide reaching beaches and more active resorts. Getting out and about is nice and easy from here and when you return to base, there's central heating and WiFi for your down time.

The panoramic views across Penryn’s tidal river are fascinating to sit and enjoy, there’s always something happening on the water and it’s worth waking early to catch the sun rising over the scenery. If you don't fancy the trip into Falmouth then Penryn has a few pubs, shops, a post office and fish and chip shop just a few hundred metres up the road, there's also a choice of supermarkets close by.

From the private off-road parking the apartment is accessed through a communal hallway and up two flights of stairs or you can use the lift. The open-plan nature of the main living area gives the property such a lovely light and airy feel and the views are beautiful.

There is a fully equipped kitchen that has a 4-ring gas hob with electric oven and extractor over, dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge/freezer and a kettle and toaster. The solid wood dining table seats four people and takes advantage of the views while dining.

The lounge area, also with river views, has two comfortable two seat sofas; a flat screen TV with Freeview and a DVD player. There's also a pedestal fan and WiFi throughout the apartment.

The main en suite bedroom has a 5' king-size bed with bedside tables & lamps, dressing table, two built-in single wardrobes, blackout curtains and the fantastic views across the river can also be seen from the bed. The en suite has a large shower cubicle with rain shower, toilet and matching handbasin with mirror and heated towel rail.

Bedroom two is a twin room with two 3' single beds, bedside lamps and a double wardrobe. The family bathroom has a bath with hand-held shower over, toilet and matching handbasin with mirror and shaver point and a heated towel rail.

Rental includes: bedlinen, towels, WiFi, electricity, gas, central heating and car parking for one vehicle. The road outside may be busy at times, please call to discuss if you have any concerns. Regret no pets and no smoking.
