'Chyreen' at The Lizard is a new-build detached holiday home situated in a tucked away position just off the village green in the furthest southerly village in mainland UK. Reverse level to take advantage of the lovely views across the recreation park and out to sea from the Juliet balcony off the lounge.
You are within easy access of the village shops, pubs and restaurants and there is miles of coastal walking available right from the front door. The South West Coastal Path passes around the famous lighthouse at Lizard Point just 800m from Chyreen. Here you can enjoy lunch and the views from the cafe or for the more energetic the cliff walk to Kynance Cove is surely one of the most stunning in the UK.
Chyreen is approached down your own private driveway which opens to provide parking for three vehicles. The level entrance into the wide entrance hall, together with ground floor bedrooms, could make Chyreen suitable for the less able bodied, although the main lounge is upstairs.
Off the entance hall is the beautiful large kitchen/diner with breakfast bar, sofa and dining table. Well-equipped with a large fridge freezer, triple oven range cooker with 5 hobs, dishwasher and microwave. Double doors open to the patio and garden and there's even a large screen LCD TV. A separate utility area has a washing machine and there's a tumble dryer in the garage.
Also on the groundfloor are two bedrooms, a double and a twin. The double has a 4'6'' bed with bedside tables and lamps. The twin has two x 3' single beds, bedside tables and lamps with a triple wardrobe. These bedrooms share a luxury fully tiled bathroom that has a large shower cubicle with mixer shower over, a double ended bath, matching toilet and handbasin with mirror and shaver point above and a heated towel rail.
Upstairs is the huge lounge, a real feature, with comfortable seating for 10 and lovely views from the double doors and Juliet balcony across the recreation area out to sea. There's a 50'' LCD 'Smart' TV with freesat, BluRay/DVD player and a feature circular woodburner which is for ornamental use only.
Off the lounge is a large landing which has been converted to provide office space with a desk, chair and bar. There's also a separate cloakroom with toilet and handbasin.
The master bedroom (with en suite) has sea views, a 4'6'' double bed, bedside tables and lamps, triple wardrobe space and freeview TV. The en suite has a large shower cubicle with electric shower over, heated towel rail, fitted units with matching toilet and handbasin with mirror and shaver point over. The second upstairs bedroom has a 4'6'' double bed, bedside tables with lamps and a triple wardrobe.
Chyreen includes free internet (wifi and hard-wired) and ecologically friendly underfloor central heating which is fully controllable and powered by an Air Source Heat Pump. Bedlinen, towels and electricity are all included. Up to two well-behaved dogs will be accepted by prior arrangement at £25 per dog per week. Regret no smoking.
