The Coach House
Changes Fridays Code P607
The Coach House is a newly converted former Georgian coach house that sleeps up to five guests, with spacious airy rooms and features such as bi-fold doors to the garden space. It was once the most southerly Catholic Church in mainland UK, known as The First Lady of the Lizard. The character of this beautiful old barn has been preserved by re-using the original bricks and the shape of the structure, but converted and finished to a high standard throughout. It is ideally located for easy access to the South West Coast Path and an easy stroll to pubs, restaurants and gift shops in the village centre. Perfect for exploring popular beauty spots like Kynance Cove, Church Cove & Polpeor, England’s most southerly point, as well as Helford and other gems in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
From the gravel driveway, you enter into an entrance hall with utility, kitchen and living room off. The large living room has comfy seating for five, a smart TV with Sky and a wood-burner. A large bi-fold door opens the living room up to the decked area outside, where there are wooden benches and an outdoor coffee table.
The kitchen and dining room is airy, with vaulted ceiling and a bespoke fitted kitchen and dining space, complete with another bi-fold door to allow free-flow access to the outside seating area and garden. Equipped with a Rangemaster double oven with 5-ring induction hob, a freestanding fridge and freezer, integrated dishwasher, a 4-slice toaster and microwave. The kitchen tap is a Qettle tap, this produces boiling water on demand - instead of a traditional kettle. For dining, there's a large table and chairs next to the bi-folds and a Welsh dresser completes this space. The utility room includes a toilet, sink and washing machine.
Off the kitchen is a hallway to the bedrooms and bathroom. The main bedroom features a super king- size bed, an additional single bed and storage in the triple wardrobe and chest of drawers. The second bedroom is a twin room with two single beds, a dressing table, wardrobe and chest of drawers. The large family bathroom is between the two bedrooms and includes a walk-in shower, over-sized bath, sink, toilet and a heated towel rail.
Outside is a lawned garden with decked area for sitting out and a gravel parking area for two cars.
