Roskorwell Manor

Roskorwell Manor is a beautiful house with sea views and five en suite bedrooms. Set atop the grassy cliffs at Porthallow Cove, just half a mile from the beach and village, and with stunning views of the sea, valley and surrounding countryside. Sleeping up to ten, with each bedroom having it's own en suite. There's a further easy access annexe with an en suite wet room. Complete with ample private parking, a large garden and fast reliable internet connection provided.

Just a short walk from the house is the South West Coast Path, from here you can walk to beauty spots such as Nare Head, Gillan and Flushing or further along the Helford River. In the other direction you can visit the beaches at Porthkerris, Porthoustock and even Coverack.

At Roskorwell Manor, you enter from the gravel parking area into the rear cloakroom, where there's space for coats and boots as well as a separate WC and a tumble dryer.

The rest of the ground floor comprises two living rooms, both with wood-burners and comfortable seating, and also a large open-plan kitchen and dining room. The kitchen is equipped with an American style fridge/freezer, two ovens, integrated microwave, 4-ring electric hob, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, 4-slice toaster and two kettles.

The original Victorian staircase ascends to a large landing with four bedrooms off, each room upstairs has polished floor boards and features a view of either the sea or countryside:

Bedroom one is a king-size room with dual aspect views, including the fabulous sea views from the window at the foot of the bed. There are bedside tables with lamps, a chest of drawers, chair and a hanging rail. The en suite bathroom has a shower over the bath, a handbasin, toilet and heated towel rail.

Bedroom two has a super king-size bed and similar dual aspect views, with the sea in one direction and the St Keverne valley in the other. This room is completed with a wall mounted TV, a double wardrobe, chest of drawers, dressing table and bedside tables with lamps. The large en suite bathroom has both a bath and separate walk-in shower enclosure, a toilet, handbasin and heated towel rail.

Bedroom three is a twin room with two 3' single beds, a chest of drawers, combination wardrobe and chair. The en suite shower room is fully tiled with a fitted mixer shower, a toilet, handbasin and heated towel rail.

Bedroom four has a zip & link bed which can be made up as a super king or separate twin beds. It has a double wardrobe, chest of drawers, dressing table and beside tables with lamps. The en suite has a fitted shower, a toilet, handbasin and heated towel rail.

The annexe houses the fifth bedroom and being separate from the main house this space offers further flexibility to the sleeping arrangements. It has a zip & link bed, wardrobe and bedside tables with lamps. There's a dining table with chairs and a wall-mounted TV, also a mini fridge and kettle for refreshments without needing to visit the house. The en suite wet room has a walk-in shower, toilet, handbasin and heated towel rail. The annexe has step free access from the car park and is all on one level. The parking area is between both the main house and the annexe for easy access to both. The path from the annexe to the main house is level and there is one small step at the backdoor.

The outdoor areas include a sun terrace at the rear of the house, this raised level garden space has a table and chairs set amongst planters, flower beds and the hedgerow. Just below the terrace, in the courtyard space, there's a Kadai fire bowl where you can gather round the flames on cooler evening, or even use it as a barbecue. A large lawn wraps around from the top of the sun terrace, along past the annexe and opens into a larger space which is perfect for laying out on the sun loungers.
