Violets Cottage is situated only two hundred metres from the National Trust harbour of Mullion Cove, with access to miles and miles of cliff top walking along the coastal path, and just over a mile from the thriving village of Mullion. The property is one of two semi-detached cottages at the end of a single track with fantastic sea views from all front facing windows.
Entered through the sun room and into the dining area with a large dining table and seating for six, it has French doors leading to the garden, a wall-mounted TV with freesat. Just off is the small but very well-equipped kitchen, having double electric oven with hob and extractor over, fridge freezer, microwave and dishwasher. There is also a washing machine and tumble dryer in the sunroom.
The lounge is beautifully decorated and furnished, having sea views from the large picture window. Two leather sofas provide comfortable seating and the LCD TV has freesat and a DVD player, also a CD player with iPod mounting, and coffee tables. There is a wall-mounted electric real flame-effect heater.
The bedrooms and bathroom are on the first floor. (All bedrooms have wall-mounted televisions with freesat, and hairdryers). Bedroom one is a large double room with lovely sea views, a kingsize (5') double bed, bedside tables and lamps, dressing table and built- in wardrobe. Bedroom two is a twin room with full size (3') single beds with central bedside table, wardrobe and dressing table. Bedroom three is a single room with sea views, bedside table and lamp, drawer unit and wardrobe. The family bathroom is fully tiled, having a matching suite with powerful mixer shower over the L shaped bath, shaver point and heated towel radiator.
Outside is a sheltered gravelled patio area with BBQ which gets the sun from mid morning onwards and a small lawned area to the front of the house. A steep terraced garden is set into the side of the cliff which has seating areas and a sea view from the top. Care is needed and young children should be supervised while exploring the Pixie path.The gate between the two properties is only usable when you book both properties.
Off-road parking for two cars, please note this is shared with Creigan which also have 2 spaces, so please park responsibly. Next door is 'Creigan House' (see property number 45) which is also a holiday let owned by the same people.
The cottage has a payphone and wireless Internet access. Environmentally friendly cleaning materials are included in the rental.
At the rear of the garage there is a workshop which can be used for storage of the BBQ, surfboards and wellies, etc
Heating is by storage radiators and electric convector heaters. Hot water, electricity, bedlinen and towels are included in the rental. No smoking. Environmentally friendly cleaning materials included in the rental. This property accepts one dog by prior arrangement at £25 per week. Payphone. All bedrooms contain hairdryers.
