A lovely well appointed house in a fabulous situation; ideal for a large group with dogs. We did have some difficulty adjusting the heating ,(too hot)), but happily were able to open windows. The games room was a real bonus and much fun was had. The dogs were easily restricted to a downstairs area and denied access to the sitting room at night. Great for peace of mind! One niggle: the kettles were a poor design and a bit of a scalding hazard. Otherwise, apart from a too modest teapot, it was perfect.

This was our fourth visit to eagles and we found it just as welcoming and comfortable as usual. We enjoyed the quietness of the roads as it is off season but found plenty to do. The owners, Sheila and Dennis Archer, were lovely to deal with and most welcoming. We want to return soon.

Perfect for us, as we like the peace and quiet. Everything you could want, was in the cottage. It would be lovely in the summer to enjoy the beautifull garden.
We love this part of Cornwall, and although it is tucked away, you are not far from the coastal walks and great beaches. We would book it again. Thankyou

We had an brilliant week long stay at the Old Coastgaurd Cottage
Lovely cottage full of character with lots of space to cook and dine
Large seated areas to accommodate the entire family but it still had a cosy, homely feel
Amazing spot for bird watching and star gazing! We’d love to return one summer to make use of the fabulous garden
Many thanks Velvyn!

The Round House

Morris, KIDDERMINSTER, Nov 2017

Had a brilliant time. The cottage is lovely, everything you need and in a great location. Margaret and Peter were so welcoming and helpful and the little ‘extras’ (choccies and biscuits) were much appreciated. Can recommend the Black Swan in Gweek, fab food. Seal Sanctuary is great. Sunset at the Lizard Point is beautiful, and the stars from the balcony here are stunning. St Erth to St Ives train trip is short but very pretty. Also the walk from Helford along Frenchman’s Creek is gorgeous. We’ll definitely be back and be recommending to friends. Thank you Margaret and Peter.

Pheasant's Retreat

This is a lovely cottage in a fantastic part of Cornwall.
The cottage was spotless and very welcoming.
The Garden is like a little Cornish corner of your very own when staying at this cottage very secluded and private.
We will be back!

Mullion Cottage

Bartholomew, Taunton, Nov 2017

Had a wonderful week in the comfortable cottage. Perfect weather for two photographers! Sun, moody clouds, wind, racing surf! So many (almost) inaccessible coves. Despite the "tired" appearance of the Angarrack Inn, the food was excellent!

I absolutely loved the house - the welcoming extras like milk, tea cups and biscuits was especially lovely! Having a log burner and access to the hotel pool and jacuzzi were fab, and the view from the living room was beautiful. When we first approached Rockview, it was so bright and welcoming we were worried we were intruding on someone else’s flat at first, but then we realised it was just made ready for us!
