Chy Lowena is situated at the edge of Pendra Loweth (Cornish for Valley of Gardens), a development of modern, privately owned holiday homes in a 16 acre site of quiet wooded valley at Maenporth, Falmouth. Being both end-terrace and all on one level makes Chy Lowena quite unique, it's one of only three bungalows at Pendra Loweth and is set close to a stream that runs through the grounds. An allocated parking space is just a 30 metre level walk and outdoor areas such as lawns are also a stones throw away. There's a range of facilities, seasonal restaurant and bar. Within a minutes walk are the indoor heated ‘splash’ pool, Jacuzzi, steam room, modern fully equipped gym, pool table, solarium, children's play area and the laundry facility. Meanporth Beach and Swanpool Beach are both nearby, a little over over a mile, and Falmouth town Centre is only two miles.
The open-plan living, dining and kitchen room has plenty of space to prepare meals or relax and unwind after a day by the sea, with the doors opening out onto the spacious patio with lawn beyond. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven, 4-ring hob, fridge/freezer in addition to the under-counter fridge, washing machine, microwave, toaster, kettle and filter coffee machine. The lounge space has a sofa and two easy chairs, TV with Freeview and garden views.
The main bedroom has a double bed with bedside table, bedside lamps, chest of drawers and a wardrobe, view of the garden. Second bedroom has twin 3' single beds, a bedside table with lamp and large built-in wardrobe. Family bathroom with shower over bath, a toilet, handbasin and heated towel rail.
Outdoors is a large patio area with a picnic table next to a lawned area that is part of the communal gardens, either end of the patio has trellis screening and some shrubbery to provide some privacy. Please note that this area is not enclosed so dogs must be exercised on leads.
Heating is by modern storage radiators and electric panel heaters in the bedrooms. Rental includes WiFi, electricity, bedlinen, towels and all facilities apart from the solarium. Also on site are two tennis courts. One allocated parking space is within 30 metres of the front door with further visitor parking available nearby. The site offer electric vehicle chargers which are first come first serve and on a pay as you go basis - please enquire at the site reception area for further information.
