Kerensa an Mor, Cornish for 'a love of the sea', is a beautifully appointed house where the front-facing windows all look out to sea. Ideal for two couples or an adult family, featuring two en suite bedrooms. The living room is the perfect spot to sit and watch the world go by on the water below, the large picture window frames the views across the sailing waters of the Carrick Roads, towards Falmouth Docks and Pendennis Castle beyond. Looking down through the buildings below, you can see Arwenack Street, just a minute or two's walk away and lined with cafés, restaurants, shops and other eateries.

Entered from the front patio garden into the hallway, the house immediately draws your attention to the view. Step into the living room and you are greeted by the large picture window, while comfortable sofas and an easy chair make this an inviting space to relax of an evening. A large Smart TV provides entertainment if you're able to take your eyes off the scenery. The wood burner adds warmth during the winter months and is therefore not in use between April and October.

The lounge leads through to a dining area, where bifold doors open onto the rear patio garden, allowing the summer warmth and fresh air to flow through the house. A large dining table and chairs provide plenty of space for entertaining or gathering together over a leisurely meal.

At the rear of the house is a large, well-equipped kitchen with plenty of space for preparing home-cooked meals or enjoying a quick breakfast at the island. The Aga is not in use between May and October (it's simply too warm!), but an Aga-style cooker with electric oven and gas hob is provided instead. Other appliances include a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and toaster. A separate utility area houses the washing machine and tumble dryer, with a door leading out to the rear patio.

Also on the ground floor is the first en suite bedroom. The zip-and-link bed can be configured as a super king-size bed or separated into twin single beds – please advise your preference when booking. Furnishings include bedside tables, a chest of drawers and a built-in wardrobe. The en suite shower room features a large shower enclosure with mixer shower, toilet, handbasin, heated towel rail and underfloor heating. The en suite can be accessed from both the bedroom and the hallway, with both doors lockable when in use.

Upstairs is a cosy snug with a sofa, TV, reading lamps and a window that opens fully to let the sea air drift in. Also on this floor is the second en suite bedroom, a spacious double room with sea views and an en suite shower room.

Outdoors:
The front patio garden enjoys sea views and features a bistro table and chairs, perfect for morning coffee, an afternoon read, or evening drinks as the sun begins to set.

Parking:
There is driveway parking accessed from a short private lane. At the entrance to the lane is a stone archway which restricts the width and will not be suitable for some vehicles, city cars and small hatchbacks will pass through with care but larger saloon cars or SUVs may find they will not fit. Cornish Cottages have driven through in a Hyundai Kona, which has a width of 1.8 metres (1,800mm) and this is about the maximum that can safely pass through. Please check your vehicle dimensions to avoid any disappointment. Alternative parking is on-street and there are many unrestricted roads in the immediate area. If required, you could unload at the bottom of the lane and then relocate the car. There are also several pay and display car parks within a 5 minute walk.
