Four Winds

Four Winds is set at the edge of Mullion Village, sleeping six across three bedrooms and with far reaching rural and sea views. The village amenities include two good pubs, two convenience stores, a beach shop, pharmacy and at the heart of the village a 15th century church.

The nearest sandy beach at Poldhu Cove is just a few minutes in the car and has plenty of parking, a popular café, seasonal surf school and lifeguards during the summer. Mullion also has a harbour at Mullion Cove and another sandy beach at Polurrian, with each of these beaches being linked by the South West Coast Path, which you can walk for miles whilst soaking up the stunning sea and coastal scenery.

Almost anywhere on the Lizard Peninsula, including the beautiful Kynance Cove, the furthest southerly point at Lizard and the very picturesque working fishing cove at Cadgwith, are all just a short drive away.

The property has a gravel driveway with space for a few cars, from here, enter into the conservatory which is a useful space for coats and boots or beach supplies. Beyond this is an open-plan kitchen, dining, living area and sun room.

The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven with 4-ring hob and extractor over, a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, kettle and toaster. A dining table sits by a large window with views of the garden and a glimpse of the sea. The rest of the living area is centred around a wood-burner, with comfy seating and a TV with Freeview. Off of the living space is a further sun room, which features a sky-light and double doors to the garden. From here there are views of the surrounding countryside, from the edge of Goonhilly Downs, across to Cury Churchtown and over to the sea around Poldhu.

Two of the bedrooms are on the ground floor. Bedroom one is a double en suite, it has a 5’ king size bed, bedside tables with lamps and a double wardrobe, the en suite shower room has a shower, toilet, handbasin and heated towel rail. Bedroom two is a twin room with two 3’6” beds, a bedside table with lamp, double wardrobe and a chest of drawers. Also on the ground floor is a tiled wet-room with shower, toilet, handbasin and heated towel rail.

Bedroom three is upstairs and has dual aspect, far reaching, rural and sea views. Angled stairs off the hallway open into this room (no doorway) where there’s a 5’ king size bed, bedside tables and lamps, built in wardrobe and a chest of drawers. Because of the apex of the roof, headroom in parts of this room are slightly restricted.

Outside is a large garden, mostly lawn, with an outdoor table and chairs on the raised patio area. There is parking for 3-4 cars on the gravel driveway, which is shared with the long term tenant of the detached annexe which is also on site.

Rental includes WiFi, central heating, electricity, towels and first basket of logs with further supplies available locally. Please bring own beach towels. A dog is welcome by prior arrangement at £25 per week.
