Lana's Lodge is a spacious two bedroom annexe in Mullion with private garden, parking and wood floors throughout. It overlooks the cricket field and is perfectly positioned for a short level walk to the village centre for shops and pubs, or in the other direction you can head downhill to Mullion Cove harbour where there's wonderful scenery and miles of cliff top walking, it's all here right from the doorstep.
From Mullion you can explore the whole of the Lizard Peninsula, with Kynance Cove just 10 minutes in the car or the furthest Southerly point at Lizard half a mile further. The walk from Mullion to Lizard Point along the cliffs is exhilarating and worth the effort for one of Ann's famous pasties, you can get the bus back too if you don't feel up to the return walk after enjoying pasties and ice creams!
There are several beaches nearby, either the harbour at low tide, Polurrian a 10 minute walk or Poldhu Cove which has a car park, cafe, toilets and lifeguards in the summer just two minutes from the village. Helston is the nearest town approx 15 minutes away with a Sainsbury's and Tesco as well as a good choice of restaurants and pubs and a cinema. Porthleven, Penzance, St Ives and Truro are all easily reachable within an hour for day trips.
Lana's Lodge is entered from your driveway parking into the kitchen dining room. The kitchen has an electric oven with 4-ring hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave, kettle and toaster. Dining table and chairs for six.
The living room features two, two-seat sofas, with Sky TV and DVD, this room looks out to Mullion Cricket Club where you can watch the local teams training on Monday and Tuesday evenings.
The master bedroom looks out onto the back garden and has a super king-size zip and link bed (can be made as separate singles by prior request), bedside tables with lamps, chest of drawers and a built-in wardrobe.
The second bedroom also looks onto the rear garden and has twin single beds, a chest of drawers, built-in wardrobe and bedside tables with lamps. There is a 'z bed' that can be used for an additional guest if required, please enquire at time of booking.
The main bathroom has a bath and a separate shower cubicle, toilet and handbasin. There's also a separate WC with toilet and handbasin.
In the hallway is a storage cupboard with extras such as iron and board, portable heater etc. There is a connecting hallway to the owners' residence that has locked doors on either side.
Outside there is a gravel garden to the front with bench and at the rear is an enclosed garden with lawn, picnic table and a storage area for washing and hanging wetsuits and beach/sports equipment.
Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome by prior arrangement at £25 per dog per week.
Rental includes central heating, WiFi, Sky TV, bedlinen, towels and electricity.
