Lanherne is a first floor flat on the outskirt of Mullion Village, offering spacious rooms for a couple to use as a base for exploring the Lizard Peninsula. The nearby village centre includes two pubs, a restaurant, two convenience stores with freshly baked goods, a beach shop, pasty bakery and a pharmacy.
Poldhu Cove is the nearest sandy beach and is just a few minutes in the car, there’s a popular café where you can get a breakfast bap with fresh coffee whilst watching the morning surf roll in. Polurrian Cove is the other sandy beach and Mullion Cove is a small fishing harbour, each of these beaches are linked by the South West Coast Path, perfect for keen walkers.
Almost anywhere on the Lizard Peninsula, including the beautiful Kynance Cove, the furthest southerly point at Lizard and the very picturesque working fishing cove at Cadgwith, are all just a short drive away.
Lanherne Flat has a gravel driveway and large parking area, from here, enter into the private entrance which takes you upstairs to an open-plan living area, kitchen and dining space.
The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven with 4-ring induction hob and extractor over, a fridge with ice compartment, dishwasher, microwave, kettle and toaster. A dining table and chairs is provided for sit down meals. The living area has a two seat leather sofa and two leather arm chairs with a flat screen TV.
Off the living area is a very large bathroom which features a freestanding slipper bath as well as a large shower enclosure, handbasin, toilet and two heated towel rails.
The bedroom is also a large room and has a king size bed, built in hanging space, bed side table with lamps and a two seat sofa.
Guests are welcome to make use of the large decked area which is found at the side of the owners residence, there’s a path that leads from the front door of the flat round to the decking. From here there are far reaching rural views and you can also see the sea around Poldhu Cove. Outdoor table and chairs are provided on for the decked area.
Rental includes WiFi, electricity and towels. A washing machine and tumble dryer are available for use in the ground floor garage. in Heating is by electric plug in heaters.
