Mullion Cottage is in the centre of Mullion village with shops, pubs and restaurants all within level walking distance. The sandy beaches at Polurrian and Poldhu are both just a mile away as well as the picturesque Mullion Cove. The cottage features a beautiful enclosed garden space at the rear, perfect for enjoying the sun with a bit of privacy.
Entered through a small lobby with hooks for coats, into the open plan dining and kitchen areas with a dining table and four chairs. The fully fitted kitchen has electric oven and 4-ring ceramic hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge. Additionally there is a utility room with a freezer, washing machine, tumble drier, sink and toilet. The living room is comfortably furnished with sofa, armchairs, LCD Smart TV/DVD and an electric fire effect stove. Attached to the living room is a sun room with further seating and leads to the well-kept south facing garden. The garden also has a patio with garden furniture for eating al fresco and sun loungers for that afternoon read in the sun.
A steeper than normal, narrow-tread staircase leads to the first floor where there is a double bedroom with 4'6" bed, bedside tables with lamps, a dressing table, built in wardrobe and en suite shower room with shower, toilet and handbasin. The second bedroom has twin 3' beds, a bedside table with lamp, storage cupboard and an en suite bathroom with bath, toilet and handbasin. This bathroom features an artistic semi-nude wall mural.
Heating throughout is by night storage heaters. Electricity, bedlinen and towels are all included and one dog is welcome at £25 per week. Please note that the ceiling is lower between the utility room and kitchen as well as the doorway to the sunroom. Although Mullion Cottage doesn’t have reserved parking, there are time restricted on-road parking spaces in front of the cottage and there are two free public car parks within 200 metres.
