'Rosebank' is a three bedroom detached bungalow in Mullion, situated opposite the cricket field roughly half way between the village and the harbour. You can walk easily from the front door either to the village with its shops and pubs or to the coastal path for miles of cliff-top walking with outstanding scenery.
There are several beaches easily accessible, either the harbour at low tide, Polurrian a 15 minute walk or Poldhu Cove with easy parking just two minutes from the village. Poldhu Cove has lifeguards during the summer, a large car park, cafe and toilets.
From Mullion you can explore the whole Lizard Peninsula, with Kynance Cove just 10 minutes in the car or the furthest Southerly point at Lizard half a mile further. The walk from Mullion to Lizard Point along the cliffs is exhilarating for the energetic members of your party - and you can always get the bus back!
Helston is the nearest town approx 15 minutes away with a Sainsbury's and Tesco as well as a good choice of restaurants and pubs. Porthleven, Penzance, St Ives and Truro are all easily reachable within an hour.
Rosebank has three bedrooms, a large lounge with a wood burning stove, an open-plan kitchen/diner, a wonderful feature bathroom as well as a utility room and separate toilet.
Bedroom one is a large double room with twin 3' single beds (can alternatively be made as a Super-king 6' bed if required) bedside tables and lamps, wardrobe and chest of drawers.
Bedroom two is also a double with a 4'6'' double bed, bedside tables, wardrobe and drawer unit.
Bedroom three has 3' bunk beds, bedside table and lamps, wardrobe and a large chest of drawers.
The family bathroom is a real feature, it is fully tiled and has a large corner bath, walk-in wet room style shower, matching toilet and handbasin with LED lit mirror above and a heated towel radiator. There is also a separate toilet.
The kitchen/diner is well-equipped with a lovely solid wood dining table and leather chairs, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, electric double oven with 4-ring hob and extractor over. A separate utility area has the washing machine, tumble dryer and door to the back garden.
The lounge is large and bright with comfortable seating for six people, including reclining sofas and a flat screen TV with freeview, DVD and VCR. Now with a wood burning stove, first supply of logs are provided.Free WiFi is also provided.
To the rear is a large lawned and beautifully planted garden with a greenhouse which is boarded up for safety, although we recommend that children are supervised.
Outside to the front there is ramped access from the gated driveway meaning this property could be suitable for someone with restricted mobility. There is even a bench so you can watch the cricket! Extra parking is available immediately outside on the road.
