Sandpiper, is a first floor holiday home, which has been refurbished to a high standard. Located along Polurrian cliffs near Mullion, Cornwall. With off-road parking, patio to rear, complimentary access to the Polurrian Bay Leisure facilities, cliff top walking from your front door and sea views from most windows it is a lovely location for a holiday for up to four people.
The village of Mullion with its two pubs, general stores, pharmacy and book shop is a level half mile walk while a more challenging route will take you down the steep cliff path onto the secluded Polurrian beach. A beautiful golden sandy beach, only accessible by foot and therefore much quieter than some beaches.
A little further along the cliff path will lead you to Poldhu Cove (sandy beach, cafe, toilets) and you could continue all the way to Porthleven via Gunwalloe Church Cove and Loe Bar if you really feel like it!
A short car journey will bring you to the market town of Helston with a regular farmers' market, while the famous port town of Falmouth is about 35 minutes away. Penzance, St Ives and Truro are all reachable in less than an hour and the Eden Project is around 80 minutes away.
A private entrance from the rear patio area leads you upstairs, the stairs are a little steeper than normal but there is a handrail, the landing then has all rooms off. The beautiful sea views from the lounge hit you as soon as you enter, along the coast towards Mullion Island and beyond. Comfortably furnished with a two-seater sofa, two armchairs, LCD TV with freeview and a DVD player. The fully equipped kitchen/Diner is off the lounge with circular dining table and four chairs, fridge-freezer, washer/dryer, microwave, electric oven with 4-ring ceramic hob and sea views.
Bedroom one is a double room with sea views, 4'6" double bed with bedside tables and lamps and a built-in double wardrobe. Bedroom two is a twin room with distant sea views around Mount's Bay to St Michael's Mount. Having two x 3' single beds, bedside tables and lamps and built-in double wardrobe. Bathroom has bath with shower over, handbasin and toilet.
The nearby Polurrian Bay hotel has a restaurant and serves drinks. Access to the indoor and outdoor pool, gym and tennis court is inclusive with your stay subject to availability. Please note that the hotel is opposite to Sandpiper, whilst having great views past the hotel it does limit the view directly to the front of the property.
Underneath Sandpiper is another holiday let: 'Rock View' sleeps up to 6 and can be let along with Sandpiper to provide joint accommodation for up to 10 people. Ordinarily the two properties are locked off from each other. Sandpiper has use of the rear garden area and patio with bench at the side of the property. The front garden area is for the use of Rock View guests. Please note, Rock View accepts dogs; whilst guests there are asked to exercise dogs off the premises there may be occasions where the dogs are in the garden area, the two spaces can be separated by using the folding fences provided to keep dogs from visiting you.
Rental includes bedlinen, towels, central heating and electricity. Children from age 5 and over are welcome (if younger please call), regret no pets and no smoking.
