Chy Coose

Chy Coose is a spacious holiday home for up to six guests, well placed for exploring some of the best-known beaches and destinations on Cornwall's north coast. Perranporth and its long sandy beach are just three miles away, while Holywell Bay, St Agnes and Newquay are all within easy driving distance, giving you plenty of choice for beach days, coastal walks and places to eat. The A30 is also just a few minutes away, making it easy to explore further afield, while the cathedral city of Truro is around 20 minutes by car for a wider choice of shops, restaurants and amenities.

From the driveway parking area, pass through the front garden and up two steps into the living room. At the centre of the accommodation, this is a comfortable family space with a three-seater and two-seater sofa, coffee table and wall-mounted TV.

Off the living room is the bright and airy kitchen/diner, set within a conservatory-style extension with a glass roof and lovely views across the pond to the rolling fields beyond. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, 2-ring hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. A dining table with four chairs and a bench seat provides space for everyone to sit together while enjoying the outlook.

A hallway leads from the living room to the main bedroom, twin room and family bathroom. The main bedroom has a double bed, bedside tables with lamps, a large wardrobe and dressing table. The twin room has two full-size single beds, a bedside table with lamp and built-in storage and hanging space.

The family bathroom includes a bath with mixer shower over, toilet and handbasin.

Also leading from the living room are two single bedrooms, particularly well suited to children, with fun themed touches. Both rooms have a full-size single bed, bedside table with lamp and sliding wardrobe providing storage and hanging space. Each also enjoys views across the garden and neighbouring fields.

Outside, the front lawned garden has a table and chairs for sitting and dining outdoors. Guests are also welcome to explore the lower garden, an established space with numerous mature trees and shrubs and a large fish pond.

Please note that the pond is unfenced, so children must be supervised at all times when using this part of the garden.

Beyond this is a further upper garden area with a small glamping unit, largely screened from Chy Coose by an outbuilding. Guests are asked to respect the privacy of anyone staying in this area and avoid entering the upper garden when it is occupied. The owners also live in the main residence on site, which is separated from Chy Coose by hedging and does not directly overlook the property.

Rental includes bed linen, towels, WiFi and electricity. Heating is provided by electric wall-mounted panels and infrared heaters. One dog is welcome by prior arrangement at £30 per week.
