St Ives, North Coast

St Ives is a vibrant and popular seaside town on Cornwall's north coast.  In 2012, it was again voted Best Seaside Town by Coast Magazine.

The historic heart of St. Ives is around the harbour where working fishing boats still moor.  The maze of narrow, winding streets lined with tiny granite cottages is best explored on foot.  St. Ives has a selection of sandy beaches ideal for families.

The coastal footpath passes through the town giving easy access to miles of spectacular walking.
Alternatively, you can enjoy the coastal scenery in comfort on the St. Ives railway branch line.

Internationally famous for its quality of light, St. Ives has long attacted artists and photographers.  Visitors can browse the many small shops, galleries and craft shops or visit Tate St. Ives.

There are cafes, pubs and restaurants to suit every taste and budget.  St. Ives boasts a year round calendar of events from Feast Day in February to the September Festival and New Year's Eve.
