Riffhams Cottage is found at the edge of Helston's high street, but thanks to it's tucked away position, you wouldn't know the bustling town centre is just around the corner. Famous for it's May 'Flora Day' celebrations (see photos) there is a good range of pubs, restaurants, takeaways and shops which are all within a short walking distance. There's even a fish and chip shop just down the hill. From here it's also a short walk to Coronation Park which is home to Helston's boating lake and beyond that is the popular wooded walking trails of the Penrose Estate, the energetic can even walk right the way through to Porthleven with stunning coastal scenery and sea views along the way.
