Built by the Admiralty in 1924 and known then as The Officer's House, the cottage has since been lovingly refurbished with comfort in mind and the colourful styling throughout is inspired by the nearby sea, sandy beaches and the warm summer sun. Pendour offers three bedrooms with two bathrooms, complete with driveway parking, woodburner and a garden with patio. Lizard Village is less than a mile away, with a range of shops, popular pubs and other eateries.
Kynance Cove is just 2 miles from here, this beautiful beach is well photographed and for good reason - if you haven't already then make a search and see what a treat this is! Footpaths crisscross the Lizard in all directions, whilst heading West takes you to Kynance, you can head East and find the fishing village of Cadgwith Cove, either way once on the South West Coast Path you can walk for miles with sea providing an ever changing backdrop.
Entered from the gravel driveway into a hall with space for coats and shoes. The stylish kitchen diner is equipped with an electric oven with 4-ring hob, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, kettle and toaster. On the other side of the groundfloor, the social spaces continue with a spacious lounge with two Ercol sofas, breakfast table for games or drinks and a large woodburner for real warmth after a day out exploring. Off the lounge is a further snug come TV room, there's more comfortable seating and a smart TV by a large bay window.
Upstairs are the three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The master double bedroom is en suite with a large shower, toilet, handbasin and heated towel rail. Windows at either end of the room soak up the light from sunrise to sunset. There's also a tea and coffee area with comfy chairs and table looking out over the fields heading towards Cadgwith Cove. Bedroom two is another double room and has views towards Kynance Cove with sea glimpses. Bedroom three offers flexibility with zip & link beds, which can be made up as a king or separated as twin beds, and a large sofa provides another space for relaxing.
