Triss Rose Cottage

Triss Rose Cottage has a 'tucked away' feel, but is actually at the centre of Lizard village with the pubs, restaurants, fish & chip shop and general stores all accessible in under a minute's level walk. The cottage has been modernised with WiFi and electric heaters throughout, as well as being tastefully decorated and furnished with comfort in mind.

The pretty pastel blue stable door opens into the dining room, there's a paved walkway with hooks for coats, whilst the dining area itself has a wooden floor and a dining table seating four. The living room has a three seat leather sofa, comfy chair, TV with Freeview and also features a woodburner if you would like to be extra warm and toasty in the cooler periods of the year.

From the dining room, a step up takes you to the rear of the cottage where there's a kitchen, utility, shower room and backdoor to the rear courtyard. The fitted kitchen includes an electric oven and hob, a microwave, kettle and a toaster and in the utility space is a fridge/freezer and a washing machine. Also on the ground floor is the shower room, which has an electric shower, handbasin, toilet and heated towel rail.

The staircase has a turn at the bottom and a handrail going up one side. Upstairs are the two bedrooms and a further WC.

Bedroom one is a double room with 4'6" double bed, bedside tables with lamps, chest of drawers  and a built in cupboard for hanging space. Bedroom two is a twin room with two single beds, a bedside table and a wardrobe with drawer space. The WC has a toilet and handbasin.

Outside the cottage, the front is bordered with pretty plants and has a bench on the lane, whilst the small rear courtyard has a compact picnic bench and low wall with a gate to the rear access path (two other cottages have use of the path, but Triss Rose is at the end of it).

Heating throughout is by modern electric heaters. Electricity, bedlinen and towels are all included and one large or two small/medium size dogs are welcome at £30 per dog per week. Parking is usually available in the area or on the village green which is a short walk away.
