Mill Wheel House

Mill Wheel House is a modern, well-appointed home with quality furnishings and stylish touches throughout. Set just back from the cliffs and harbour at Mullion Cove, and surrounded by natural vegetation with heathland as its backdrop, this is a peaceful and scenic retreat. From the upstairs living room and balcony, you can look down the valley and enjoy distant sea views. The harbour and South West Coast Path are just a few minutes away, and Mullion village centre is under a mile, offering shops, pubs, and other amenities.

To the front of the property is a landscaped driveway and garden with parking for up to three cars. Enter through the front door into a hallway with space for coats and shoes. On this floor you'll also find a convenient shower room, ideal for rinsing off sandy feet after a day at the beach.

Also on the ground floor is a games room, equipped with futon-style seating, bean bags, table football, and a TV; a perfect breakout space for children or teenagers.

Upstairs, all remaining rooms have been thoughtfully placed to make the most of the views and natural light. The stairs open into a spacious and stylish open-plan living area, combining the lounge, dining space, and kitchen, with sliding doors leading onto a large balcony.

At one end of the room, the comfortable living area includes two sofas, a large wall-mounted TV, and dual-aspect windows offering views across the valley and out towards the sea. In the centre, an extending dining table with six chairs and a feature overhead light provides a welcoming space for meals or games. At the other end, the well-equipped kitchen features an electric oven, 4-ring hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, and a coffee pod machine.

At the front of the room, sliding doors open onto a full-width balcony, a standout feature of Mill Wheel House. Enclosed with a sleek glass balustrade, the balcony offers views across the valley and out towards the sea beyond. It’s a true extension of the living space and the perfect place to unwind at any time of day. Furnished with an outdoor table and chairs, an outdoor sofa, and a pair of sun loungers, it’s ideal for everything from leisurely breakfasts in the morning, to an afternoon of lounging with a book, or enjoying drinks as the sun sets. Whether you're dining al fresco or simply soaking up the peaceful surroundings, the balcony is a real highlight of this beautiful property.

Leading off the main living space are three bedrooms and a family shower room. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, bedside tables, built-in storage, and an en suite shower room with shower, toilet, hand basin, and heated towel rail. The second bedroom is a twin room with two single beds, a chest of drawers, and built-in wardrobe. The third bedroom is a double room with views over the back garden and heathland, and includes storage and a bedside setup. The family shower room features a shower enclosure, toilet, hand basin, and heated towel rail.

Rental includes WiFi, bed linen, towels, and all utilities. Underfloor heating is powered by an air-source heat pump, ensuring warmth in all seasons. One well-behaved dog is welcome by prior arrangement at £25 per week.

Mill Wheel Cabin, a two-bedroom timber lodge, is located nearby. The two properties can be booked together to accommodate up to 10 guests in total, availability permitting. While set within the same overall plot, the properties are separated by gardens and hedging, ensuring privacy.

This arrangement makes Mill Wheel House and Mill Wheel Cabin an ideal choice for multi-generational families, two families holidaying together, or small group bookings, offering the perfect balance of shared time and private space in a peaceful, coastal setting.
