Church Cove, Lizard Peninsula
One of the most picturesque and unspoilt corners of the Lizard Peninsula
Tucked between dramatic cliffs and with ever-changing waters just off the slipway. Its a sheltered cove, with historic fishing heritage and direct access to the South West Coast Path, an ideal destination for guests looking to experience the quieter side of Cornwall.
The pretty cove is a short walk from Lizard Village, with quaint cottages lining the road from the village to the cove, and St Wynwallow Church marking the halfway point. Although only a small cove, lots can be can be seen and enjoyed, small fishing boats are launched from the slipway by local fishermen, the Lizard lifeboat station can be seen from the cliffs and other boats pass in the distance.
The Round House, original Boathouse and Winch House are available for guests to enjoy as holiday accommodation as seen below, as well as other cottages nearby.
