Chy an Reene

Chy an Reene is a detached bungalow on a small, quiet estate at the edge of Lizard village, within easy level walking distance of the village centre and its shops, cafés and pubs. Nearby beauty spots such as Lizard Point, Church Cove, Housel Bay and the stunning Kynance Cove are all within easy reach, making this an excellent base for exploring the Lizard Peninsula. After a day at the beach, return to the privacy of the enclosed garden before strolling into the village for an evening meal. Sleeping up to four guests, Chy an Reene offers a comfortable stay with plenty of room to relax, both indoors and out.

Entered from the driveway, where there is parking for two cars in tandem, the front door opens into a useful porch before leading through to the spacious living room. This welcoming space is furnished with two comfortable sofas, a TV with Sky, an ornamental stove and a model fishing boat handcrafted by a local craftsman. A large picture window overlooks the front garden, allowing plenty of natural light into the room.

The kitchen is well equipped with an electric cooker incorporating an oven, grill and 4-ring hob, together with a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, kettle and toaster.

Leading from the kitchen is a generous sunroom, a wonderful additional living space that really becomes the heart of the bungalow. Whether you're gathering around the dining table, relaxing with a book, enjoying a board game, or unwinding with a drink at the bar counter, there's plenty of space for everyone. A fridge/freezer is conveniently positioned between the kitchen and the bar, keeping drinks and holiday treats within easy reach. Double doors open directly onto the enclosed rear garden, creating an easy connection between inside and out during the warmer months.

The rear garden is partly laid to patio and partly to lawn, with a wooden picnic table for outdoor dining and a bench positioned to catch the sunshine.

A hallway leads from the living room to the bedrooms and shower room. The main bedroom has a double bed, bedside table with lamp, built-in wardrobe with chest of drawers, and a TV. The second bedroom is also furnished with a double bed and includes a built-in wardrobe and bedside table with lamp. A sliding glass door opens directly into the sunroom, making it a bright and airy room.

The shower room has a large shower enclosure, toilet, handbasin and heated towel rail.

The bungalow benefits from central heating throughout. Rental includes bed linen, WiFi and utilities. Chy an Reene is not stocked with towels so please remember to bring some of your own. One dog is welcome by prior arrangement at £25 per week.
