Tregonoggy

Tregonoggy is a characterful Cornish cottage retaining many original features and fully refurbished for year-round comfort. Just 50 metres from local shops, pubs and restaurants, it offers a wonderfully convenient location. A half-mile walk brings you to the South West Coast Path and Lizard Point, while beautiful Kynance Cove is only a mile away on foot - or just a couple of minutes by car.

You enter from the pretty enclosed front garden into a hallway with ceramic tiled flooring and a beamed ceiling. Off the hall is a cosy lounge with a large inglenook fireplace, still featuring the original bread oven, and a log burner for those cooler evenings. With beamed ceilings, stripped wood flooring, and part-exposed stone walls, the room is full of warmth and character. It’s furnished with two sofas, an easy chair, and a Smart TV. Superfast broadband is provided, along with a good selection of books and DVDs for relaxed evenings in.

The kitchen/dining room is both practical and inviting, featuring a solid oak kitchen with electric hob and oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, air fryer, and a Nespresso coffee machine (using original capsules). The spacious dining area has stripped wood flooring, a beamed ceiling, and an oak dining table with chairs for six.

Upstairs are three comfortable bedrooms and a family bathroom. The spacious master bedroom has a king-size bed, bedside tables with lamps, a built-in wardrobe, chest of drawers, and an en suite shower room with a double shower cubicle, toilet, and handbasin. The second bedroom features a 4'6" double bed and similar storage. The third bedroom is ideal for children, with full-size bunk beds. The family bathroom includes a shower cubicle with mixer shower, toilet, and handbasin.

Outside, you'll find a pretty front garden with lawn and flower beds, along with off-road parking for one car. Garden furniture is provided. Rental includes electricity, heating, bed linen, and superfast broadband. Please note: no smoking or pets.

Please be aware: Tregonoggy is a traditional Cornish cottage that’s hundreds of years old and retains original features, including lower-than-average ceiling beams on the ground floor. Taller guests should take care when moving beneath beams and through doorways - especially at the front door, which is lower than standard modern doorways.
