Caerthillian House is a detached house set just off the green at The Lizard, Cornwall and enjoys fantastic sea views and sunsets from the south west facing balcony. Set on the first floor, the property is spacious with fine furnishings and original art work. Providing a well positioned base from where you can explore the miles of footpaths that lead from the front door, or the many hidden coves and harbours of the Lizard Peninsula in just a few short minutes drive.
The solid oak front door leads into a large Terrazzo tiled entrance hall with a door to the utility area with washing machine and tumble drier and carpeted stairs to the accommodation on the first floor. The large lounge has two three-seater sofas, a flat screen TV and DVD player, a gas real flame fire and sliding glazed doors to the balcony with stunning panoramic sea views.
The large kitchen/diner has a unique, bespoke art deco design kitchen, complete with granite work tops. There's an integrated under counter fridge (separate small freezer in the cupboard in the hall), slim line dishwasher, Miele appliances including; oven, separate 2-ring gas hob and a combination microwave. There's also a Tassimo coffee machine and LCD TV with built in DVD player. Electric Aga available at extra cost if required Oct - Apr only.
The dining area has a table and four chairs with access to the balcony and similar views to the lounge. There is also a recessed 'sun room', perfect for reading or watching the shipping with binoculars and admiring the view.
The large double bedroom has a 5' king-size bed, attractive pale oak chest of drawers and bedside tables, lamps, chair and built-in louvered wardrobes.
There is a fully fitted bathroom and a separate fully tiled shower room. The bathroom has a bath with a handheld shower, toilet and handbasin in a vanity unit with mirror and light above, heated towel rail during winter months. The shower room has a cubicle with electric shower, toilet, bidet and hand basin with a light sensor vanity mirror with shaver point, heated towel rail during winter months.
Enjoy the fabulous views from the long balcony. Outside there is off-road parking for one vehicle with plenty more free parking on the village green just 20 metres away. Rental includes bedlinen, WiFi, towels, electricity, gas and central heating from October to April. This is a non-smoking property, for adults only.
