Polurrian Cove is a beautiful sandy beach tucked beneath dramatic cliffs on the western side of the Lizard Peninsula, just outside Mullion village. With its peaceful setting, golden sands and views towards Mullion Island, the cove offers a quieter alternative to some of Cornwall's busier beaches.

The beach is reached on foot via steep paths, with no direct road access, helping to preserve its relatively unspoilt character. At lower tides, a lovely stretch of sand is revealed, with Atlantic waves attracting surfers and bodyboarders when conditions are suitable. Visitors should be aware that there are no facilities directly on the beach.

The South West Coast Path passes above Polurrian Cove, offering spectacular views and excellent walking opportunities. Heading north, the path follows Angrouse Cliff towards Poldhu Cove, while the route south leads to the historic harbour at Mullion Cove. Both walks provide wonderful views of this rugged stretch of coastline.

Nearby Mullion village offers shops, pubs, cafés and other useful amenities, making it a convenient base for exploring the area. Further afield, Kynance Cove, Lizard Point and the many beautiful locations of the Lizard Peninsula are within easy reach.
