Barn Cottage

Barn Cottage accommodates up to five guests across three bedrooms. To the front is a mature garden, while the real highlight lies just beyond the back door, where a sun-trap patio leads onto a larger garden with apple trees and vibrant buddleia. Located close to the coast path, with local beaches and Mullion village within easy reach, it makes a well-placed base for exploring this part of the Lizard Peninsula.

Trenance Farm is a 13-acre site with a collection of holiday cottages and a range of shared facilities, including a heated outdoor swimming pool, children’s play area, two games rooms and two exercise fields for dogs - so there’s plenty to enjoy during your stay. Ideally positioned between Mullion village and Mullion Cove, it’s well placed for exploring the cove, Polurrian Beach, local pubs and the village shops.

From the parking area, enter into the tiled ground floor living and dining room, with the kitchen just off.

The living area offers easy seating with two sofas, along with a smart TV for entertainment. An electric fire-effect heater and large night store heater provide warmth on cooler days, while the back door opens onto the patio and garden, ideal for fresh air on warmer days. The kitchen is equipped with an electric cooker, four-ring hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle and toaster.

Also on the ground floor is the family bathroom, which has a bath with electric shower over, a toilet, handbasin and heated towel rail.

Stairs lead to the first floor, where all three bedrooms are located.

Bedroom one is a king-size room with rural views, along with a wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside tables with lamps, and a wall-mounted electric heater. Bedroom two is a twin room with full-size single beds, a built-in storage cupboard, chest of drawers, bedside table with lamp, and a wall-mounted electric heater. Bedroom three is a single room with a full-size single bed and a wardrobe with hanging space, shelves and drawers.

Outside, the rear patio has a bench just outside the door, leading onto a larger lawned garden shared with the neighbouring cottage. There is plenty of space for families to relax, along with picnic benches for outdoor dining.

Guests at Barn Cottage also have access to the shared facilities at Trenance Farm, including the outdoor heated swimming pool (open late May to early September), grassy play area, games room with table tennis and books, barbecue shed, laundry room and a large field for dog walking.

The rental includes bed linen, towels, utilities, WiFi and use of the shared amenities. There is parking for one car. Two dogs are welcome at £30 per week. A travel cot and highchair are available on request.
