Gweal Cottage

Gweal Cottage is a semi-detached comfortable retreat for four, with open-plan living and its own raised patio garden. Step straight outside onto the footpath leading across the fields to the South West Coast Path above Mullion Cove, where the sea views are stunning, and you can also stop by the nearby hotel for a drink or a meal.

Trenance Farm is a 13-acre site with a collection of holiday cottages and a range of shared facilities, including a heated outdoor swimming pool, children’s play area, two games rooms and two exercise fields for dogs - so there’s plenty to enjoy during your stay. Ideally positioned between Mullion village and Mullion Cove, it’s easy to explore the cove, Polurrian Beach, and the village’s shops and pubs.

From the parking space, enter into the open-plan kitchen, dining and living space, offering a practical and sociable layout for a small family. The kitchen is equipped with an electric cooker, four-ring hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle and toaster. A dining table with seating for four sits alongside.

The living area provides comfortable seating with a sofa and two chairs, a wall-mounted smart TV for entertainment, and an electric fire-effect heater for added warmth on cooler evenings.

Bedroom one is a double room with wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside tables with lamps. Bedroom two is a twin room with full-size single beds, wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside table with lamp. Both bedrooms have wall-mounted electric heaters.

The family bathroom includes a bath with electric shower over, toliet, handbasin and heated towel rail.

Outside, there is a bench by the cottage, along with a separate terraced garden accessed via steps. This area has a table and chairs for four and is enclosed by a colourful fuchsia hedge - a pleasant, sheltered spot for relaxing outdoors.

Guests at Gweal Cottage also have access to the shared facilities at Trenance Farm, including the outdoor heated swimming pool (open late May to early September), grassy play area, games room with table tennis and books, barbecue shed, laundry room and a large field for dog walking.

The rental includes bed linen, towels, utilities, WiFi and use of the shared amenities. There is parking for one car. One dog is welcome at £30 per week.
