Granary Cottage

Granary Cottage provides a relaxed base for up to six, and is the largest of the cottages at Trenance Farm. Once part of the main farmhouse, dating back to 1840, it retains some character features including Victorian tilework in the cosy living room. With three bedrooms and two bathrooms, it’s well suited to larger families, and benefits from parking right outside and a lawned front garden with space to sit out. From here, Mullion village, the nearby coast path and local beaches are all within easy reach.

Trenance Farm is a 13-acre site with a collection of holiday cottages and a range of shared facilities, including a heated outdoor swimming pool, children’s play area, two games rooms and two exercise fields for dogs - so there’s plenty to enjoy during your stay. Ideally positioned between Mullion village and Mullion Cove, it’s well placed for exploring the cove, Polurrian Beach, local pubs and the village shops.

From the parking space, enter into a tiled porch, with access to the kitchen and a ground floor shower room.

The kitchen is equipped with an electric cooker, four-ring hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle and toaster.

The ground floor shower room includes a large shower enclosure with electric shower, toilet, hand basin and heated towel rail.

The living and dining room offers comfortable seating with two sofas and an easy chair, along with a wall-mounted smart TV for entertainment. An electric fire-effect heater and wall-mounted electric heater provide warmth on cooler evenings, while double doors can be opened on warmer days to let in fresh air.

Stairs lead to the first floor, where all bedrooms and the family bathroom are located. Please note the staircase is steeper than a modern staircase, with a handrail on one side and a half landing.

Bedroom one is a double room with rural views, along with hanging space, a chest of drawers, bedside tables with lamps, and a hand basin with mirror and shaver point. Bedroom two is a twin room (which can be made up as a king-size on request), also with rural views, wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside table with lamp, and a hand basin with shaver point. Bedroom three is a twin room with full-size single beds, wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside tables with lamps.

The family bathroom includes a bath with electric shower over, toilet, handbasin and heated towel rail.

Outside, there is a lawned front garden with some hedging for privacy and a picnic table - a simple spot for relaxing outdoors.

Guests at Granary Cottage also have access to the shared facilities at Trenance Farm, including the outdoor heated swimming pool (open late May to early September), grassy play area, games room with table tennis and books, barbecue shed, laundry room and a large field for dog walking.

The rental includes bed linen, towels, utilities, WiFi and use of the shared amenities. There is parking for one car. One dog is welcome at £30 per week.
