Byre Cottage

Byre Cottage accommodates up to five guests across three bedrooms, with all accommodation arranged on one level. To the front is a welcoming garden, while to the rear a larger paddock garden with apple trees and vibrant buddleia offers plenty of outdoor space. Located close to the coast path, with local beaches and Mullion village within easy reach, it provides a practical base for exploring this part of the Lizard.

Trenance Farm is a 13-acre site with a collection of holiday cottages and a range of shared facilities, including a heated outdoor swimming pool, children’s play area, two games rooms and two exercise fields for dogs - so there’s plenty to enjoy during your stay. Ideally positioned between Mullion village and Mullion Cove, it’s well placed for exploring the cove, Polurrian Beach, local pubs and the village shops.

From the front garden, enter into a central hallway with all rooms leading off.

The open-plan living, dining and kitchen area creates a sociable space for spending time together. The living area includes a corner sofa, smart TV and electric fire-effect heater, with a dining table and seating for five alongside. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric cooker, four-ring hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle and toaster. Double doors open from the kitchen onto a small decked area with steps leading down to the paddock garden.

Bedroom one is a double room with en suite, including a double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside tables with lamps. The en suite features a large shower enclosure with electric shower, a toilet, handbasin and heated towel rail. Bedroom two is a twin room with full-size single beds, wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside table with lamp. Bedroom three is a single room with a full-size single bed and a wardrobe. Each bedroom has a wall-mounted electric heater.

The family bathroom includes a bath, toilet, handbasin and heated towel rail.

Outside, the rear paddock garden is lawned and shared with the neighbouring cottage, offering plenty of space for families to relax, along with picnic benches for outdoor dining.

Guests at Byre Cottage also have access to the shared facilities at Trenance Farm, including the outdoor heated swimming pool (open late May to early September), grassy play area, games room with table tennis and books, barbecue shed, laundry room and a large field for dog walking.

The rental includes bed linen, towels, utilities, WiFi and use of the shared amenities. There is parking for one car. Two dogs are welcome at £30 per week. A travel cot and highchair are available on request.
