The large beach has soft fine sand, with shingle below the shore line, that is popular with families. The beach is well served by the beachfront amenities including: a cafe, restaurant & take-away, two beach shops and an amusement arcade. There are further amenities in the village, a local supermarket, post office, bakery, tearoom and three pubs making this a great location for a day out.
