Holywell bay has rolling dunes that run along the back of this large beach. With many rock pools and a slow running stream it is liked and visited by many families with younger children. Holywell Bay is not known for a surfing beach but the surf is usually quite good for those wishing to learn. Visitors should pay attention to the undercurrents that are sometimes strong in this area.
