Porthallow Beach

Porthallow

Porthallow beach is directly in front of Porthallow village. A pebbly beach which was once a busy fishing village with a thriving pilchard fleet. Today there are only a few working boats left. Hills are on either side of the beach which provides shelter. At low tide, children can enjoy the many rock pools. From Porthallow there are many views of the Fal estuary and you can watch the boats as they travel out of Falmouth Harbour.
